Salve ragazzi,
Ovviamente in simultanea!!
.
Grazie mille!!!
Fabrizio
Yes, it is possible to record multiple instruments simultaneously with
Garageband. GarageBand supports multi-track recording, allowing you to record each instrument on separate tracks.
To set up simultaneous multi-track recording in GarageBand using your Yamaha MG12XU mixer and Behringer XR18, you can follow these steps:
Connect the outputs of your instruments to the inputs on your Yamaha MG12XU mixer. Make sure each instrument is connected to its channel on the mixer.
Connect the outputs of your Yamaha MG12XU mixer to the inputs of the Behringer XR18 audio interface using the appropriate cables. The XR18 will act as an audio interface for your computer.
Connect the Behringer XR18 to your computer via USB.
Launch GarageBand on your computer and create a new project.
In GarageBand's preferences, ensure the Behringer XR18 is selected as the audio input device.
Create a track for each instrument you want to record. Set each track's input to the corresponding input channel on the Behringer XR18.
Arm each track for recording by clicking on the red "Record Enable" button on each track.
Adjust the input levels on the Behringer XR18 and monitor the audio through the mixer's headphone output or connected speakers.
Start recording in GarageBand, and you should be able to capture each instrument on its track simultaneously.
By setting up your Yamaha MG12XU mixer and Behringer XR18 as described, you should be able to record multiple instruments simultaneously into separate tracks in GarageBand.
Remember that the audio quality will depend on the capabilities of your mixer and audio interface. Also, note that GarageBand has a track limit, so depending on your version and hardware, you may need to adjust the track count or upgrade to more advanced software like Logic Pro if you require additional tracks.
I hope this helps, and best of luck with your recording sessions!
