I could try to help you to find what is wrong.

Where did you store the files (.UVI and .UVD) ? For Win 8 it might best to have them in the root dir of the USB stick.
What where the exact filenames ?

Could you post the contents of the .UVI file here using both Notepad and Wordpad (i.e. copy the contents) ?
(Both might look the same if this forum adds carriages returns HEX '0D' if only linefeeds HEX '0A'
are present)

The contents seem to be correct. However, Notepad or Worpad do not show the linefeed or carriage return
characters. Is it possible to somehow attach the file to your post so that I could check it using a HEX Editor ?
Or can you store it somewhere else where I can download it ?

I checked that this works with the SteinwayStereo sample by just renaming it to Federica&Choir1.S559.UVN
and the UVI file name was FredericaChoir.T015.UVI. The conversion went OK (after correcting the mistakes I had done in the UVI file).

You didn't tell where on your computer (in which folder) you stored the files ?

Edit: I checked also the Federica&Choir1.S559.UVN and it works OK

NOW I also detected the mistake in your UVI file: the extension is UVD while it should be UVN !!!

Do you mean that you cannot install them on your Tyros-5, although the conversion succeeded without errors ?

He was able to install only the highlighted voices. But not the others of my package.

It gives me error on any item. It seems strange, because the first five worked.

Do the rest of the voices use some Tyros-4 internal samples ?

Edit: It was mentioned on the psrtutorial forum that all the sample packs need to be installed in one go. Link below:

I tried inserting multiple entries and by entering one.

I hope Francesco could answer my first question ?

Edit: Installing in one go is different from converting in one go. If you put all the links to the UVN files in one UVI file, that will result in converting in one go, but the resulting sample packs will be the same as if you converted them one by one. So if you had all the packs converted when starting the installation, then that was installing in one go in my understanding.

In the Steinway Piano library, only the Steinway80s uses the internal samples of the CP80, as background layer, to increase the presence.

In the Federica's library, the Federica&Choir patterns and the FedericaPadded patterns have internal Pad samples.

In the Tyros-5 FAQ Yamaha has said that sample packs that use Tyros internal samples cannot be converted
using the current version of the Expansion Manager. Some people have reported that the conversion fails.

However, now the conversion seemed to be successful, but the sample packs couldn't be installed.
This is something new to me.

Edit: To be precise the Yamaha answer was the following

A: Yamaha Expansion Manager can make Custom Voices created on Tyros4 that contain only[s] User
Wave[/s] data compatible with Tyros-5

Here's my conclusion about the situation:
- the Yamaha Expansion Manager may or may not convert custom voices that use Tyros-4 (or Tyros-3) internal voices
- according to Yamaha, custom voices that use internal samples of previous Tyros arrangers cannot be used on Tyros-5
- even if the custom voice is using only "User Waves" the converted voice cannot be installed on Tyros-5 if
the wave data is not "compatible" with Tyros-5
- there is no guarantee that the situation would get any better with the promised new (Spring 2014) version of
the Expansion Manager: in the best case it could, but in the worst case not

It is instructive to read what is actually said in the Tyros-5 FAQ about this:
- Q:How can Tyros5 handle Voice edit?

Voice set can be edited on Tyros5. Further Voice editability will be available with the future version of Yamaha Expansion Manager.(Scheduled to release in spring 2014)

This is so vague that it doesn't guarantee anything.

Thanks corgiov for the UVI files. They had nice formatting.
