Finalmente il nuovo aggiornamento 
New features:
- Normalize, Slice, and (sample) Remix options have been added directly to the Sampling Edit display and Sampling Main display respectively, allowing you to more easily call up these functions while in [INTEGRATED SAMPLING].
- You can now increase the available memory of the DIMM by using the newly added Sampling Job.
This refers to the [INTEGRATED SAMPLING] JOB. Found in [INTEGRATED SAMPLING] > [JOB] > [F3] OTHER > JOB 03: “DELETE SAME NAME WAVEFORMS”
When you highlight a Waveform on the list, the screen will show you all Waveforms that have the same exact Name. You can quickly now delete these duplicate Waveforms - the XS will automatically “re-point” all Voice data that used the duplicate Waveforms (now deleted) to the selected Waveform.
- You can now convert a Sample Voice to a Mixing Voice.
This refers to a function that when sampling directly to the sequencer (PATTERN or SONG mode) you will find an option on the main Mixer screen at [F6] VCE CONV (VOICE CONVERT). This means you no longer have to leave the MIXING mode to create a USER VOICE in order to apply PART EQ, Filters, Envelopes, etc., and/or to assign the powerful Insertion Effects to your audio sample. By Converting the User Sample Voice directly to a MIX VOICE, you can easily process your sample with the full power of any Motif XS Voice. The audio and MIX VOICE are both stored locally (within the SONG or PATTERN to which you recorded the data). This means you can load the individual SONG or individual Pattern and your Voice and of course, its sample waveform, is automatically loaded.
- You can now edit a Drum Voice in the Mixing mode.
Without leaving your MIXING screen you can press [F6] VCE EDIT and drop into full edit on a Drum kit Voice (without having to exit your SONG or PATTERN), you can fully edit the Drum Kit at the Key (Element) level. When you complete your Edit, simply press [STORE] and store you newly edited kit to one of the 32 USER Drum Kit locations. That Drum Kit will automatically be assigned to your current MIXING program. (No, there is no ‘local’ MIXING DRUM KIT VOICE for the 73 Element Drum Kit Voices - Kits must be stored to the USER DRUM bank).
- TAP is now available in the Voice/Performance/Song/Pattern mode.
You can access TAP TEMPO from the main VOICE, main PERFORMANCE, main SONG, main PATTERN and, of course, the main MASTER mode screens at [SF6] TAP
- Network function now supports Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6 .
Ethernet communication between both Windows 7 and Snow Leopard computer OS.
- From this new version, “meas” cannot be selected on the SAMPLE Record display in the Song or Pattern mode when the MIDI Sync is set to “MTC”.

si puo' pensare che questa versione sara' definitiva o quasi;
quindi' stavolta faro' l'aggiornamento anche perchè la funzione
tap tempo e la cancellazione dei campioni duplicati con riaggiustamento
automatico della numerazione è veramente importante.
