Kurzweil: ipad editor e plug se

Ho scritto a soundtower per avere notizie riguardo al PlugSE e per sapere se (un giorno futuro) si potrà avere l'editor per ipad completo. ecco la risposta:


Hi Nicola,

I apologize for the delay in responding to you.
The PC3K iPad version of the Editor is not meant to replace the full version of the computer-based Editor. iPad has its limitations and the PC3K has tremendous number of parameters, options, functions etc. so an iPad could easily get overloaded with all these and would stop working at all.
The iPad version is meant as complimentary version of the full editor and it could be very useful due to its portability, but it will never replace the computer-based Editor, sorry.
We may be adding some more functionality to it but it doesn't look likely at this time to get to the same level as the computer-based Editor.
As far as the PlugSE goes, we are working on it but due to our very limited workforce, this project has be postponed frequently and at this time I am unable to predict how much longer this will take, sorry,

Thanks per l'impegno... la risposta relativa alla impossibilità per un ipad di gestire tutti i controlli è ai limiti del ridicolo... bastava dicessero che non ci guadagnano abbastanza per investire su IPAD..

In effetti, conoscendo i CC e/o sysex da inviare, lo fai anche con Lemur....

Francamente, non capisco come Kurzweil possa ancora affidare il software di editing delle sue tastiere ad una ditta così...

Anche a me non mi sembra impossibile, anche perchè la versione pc lavora nello stesso medesimo modo! In effetti nella mail che ho scritto sono stato chiaro:

"Il fatto che molti controlli non ci siano sull'editor per ipad lo rende monco e poco comodo. Avere la possibilità di modificare tutta la vast e un'interfaccia molto limitata è abbastanza ridicolo. Tant'è che sia io che moltri altri possessori non lo usano. Questa non vuol essere un'offesa ma un feedback nella speranza di futuri miglioramenti!"

Non sono convintissimo che il problema sia Sountower, ma anche quanto kurz ha deciso di investirci o meno.
